Located in the center of an open-air mall, the design team’s task was to create a high-energy environment that supports wellness, sustainability and inspiration. The resulting space embodies these goals by maximizing daylight and natural ventilation and providing an abundance of plants and art to promote an inviting environment. Life-cycle costs and manufacturer stewardship guided material selections, ensuring the project supported a conscientious design approach. A 100-foot custom, hand-painted mural by local artist Yomar Augusto is a key design feature, while colorful, inspiring words were selected to reflect the culture and mission of the company’s brand. The Doctor Multimedia headquarters blurs the line between office, retail and community. Nice to meet you! A Pandemic and our Remote Office location business model can't keep us apart! This month we brought the team together in San Diego, CA for a Team Bonding retreat. Although we have been working remotely together, it was the first time some team members had physically met in-person. Team Bonding retreat included way too much laughing, plenty of good food, photo session headshots on the beach, "get to know you" Sand Pictionary, project site visits, and client networking events!
We also took the opportunity to meet with some of our favorite clients and played a fun game of "Speed Networking" to get to know each other better!
